Hoover Dam 2007!

Whilst I was in Las Vegas I took a road trip to the Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam has a carpark for the public so they can park up to have a look around the Dam. In the car park there were lots of little chipmunks running around under the cars to try and get some shade from the sun they were so cute and I haven’t seen a wild chipmunk before. Whilst walking around the Dam you can see the vast scale of the dam compared to what it looks like from photographs. The main thing you can see while looking at the dam is the water level and how much it has dropped. Around the land edge you can see a white line from where the water used to be years ago and how it has dried up over the years which is kind of worrying and it allows towns nearby to have access to water. The Hoover Dam is a must visit whilst your in Las Vegas as everyone loves a road trip.
